MEMPHIS, Tenn.– The Tigers will open their American Athletic Conference portion of their schedule this week when they host Tulsa on Wednesday night and SMU on Saturday afternoon.
Memphis (9-2) comes into the conference play ranked second in the AAC after their outstanding start to the season. The Tigers, who earned their fifth home win of the season, cruised to a 71-54 win over the Colonels of Nicholls back on December 20. Makaiya Brooksand Jamirah Shutes led the way for the Tigers with 12 points each while Alana Davis and Lanetta Williams both pulled down six rebounds each.
