IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference announced its home and away designations for the 2023-24 men's basketball season Thursday, giving Memphis its matchups for each of the opposing AAC programs.
The American will have 14 teams competing in men's basketball with the six additions of UAB, Charlotte, Florida Atlantic, North Texas, Rice and UTSA joining the eight continuing members.
The Tigers will play 18 league games this season, including five home-and-home series with Final Four participant Florida Atlantic, SMU, Tulane, UAB and Wichita State.
Memphis will host Charlotte, Rice, South Florida and UTSA for one game each inside FedEx Forum, and travel to East Carolina, North Texas, Temple and Tulsa for a single showdown in 2023-24.
