Tearris Wallace, a third-year member of Memphis' football squad, shared his collegiate and sports life along with the importance of respect when it comes to coaches, teachers and members of the community when he visited Cornerstone Prep Lester Campus as a guest speaker this month.
Wallace addressed a group of second graders during their Community Meeting, telling the class about how respect is the key to their future success when it comes to attending college and obtaining a career. Wallace also spoke with members of youth football teams at the school about being at school on time and how becoming a good listener, especially in listening to teachers, plays an important part into becoming a great athlete.
