MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger women's basketball team will hit the court this Saturday when they host the Knights of UCF for the team's Senior Day.
Memphis (13-9, 5-4 AAC) is coming off a 70-60 win over Wichita State last Saturday where the Tigers used an explosive first quarter to get ahead of the Shockers. Memphis would never forfeit their lead behind 21 points from Jamirah Shutes and a team-high 12 rebounds from Hannah Riddick.
The Tigers would also get seven three-pointers from five different players while their defense held Wichita State to just 31% shooting from the field.
