MEMPHIS, Tenn.- The Memphis Tiger softball team hold another busy week ahead of them, welcoming the Bears of Central Arkansas to town before hitting the road to Kansas to take on the Shockers of Wichita State this weekend.
Memphis (16-28, 2-10 AAC) picked up another conference win this past weekend when they scored early and often against Tulsa. In the second game of the series, Memphis would score off a bases-clearing triple from Camryn Wineinger, a sacrifice fly from Aliana Zavala, a squeeze play from Alyssa Dean and Kendall Lee reaching on an error that allowed Dafne Mercado to score would give the Tigers an early 5-0 lead in the bottom of the second inning.
