MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Memphis Tiger women's basketball team will hit the road for the first time in the WNIT when they make the trip up to Bowling Green, Ohio to take on the Falcons in the Super Sixteen round this Thursday night.
Memphis (22-10) is coming off an explosive start against Ball State; the Tigers would open the game on a 20-0 run, that included long range shots from Jamirah Shutes and Madison Griggs, while holding the Cardinals scoreless for nearly six minutes. Memphis would never surrender their lead as they picked up the 79-62 win.
