MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Double-doubles by Jalen Duren and DeAndre Williams powered the Memphis Tigers to their fourth-straight win with an 80-69 victory over Tulane Wednesday night at FedExForum.
Memphis (13-8, 7-4 American Athletic Conference) is now in third place in the AAC standings with No. 6/7 Houston leading the way at 9-1 and SMU right behind at 8-2. The Tigers travel to play both in the coming week and finish the regular season hosting Houston at FedExForum March 6.
Duren had 15 points and 12 rebounds for his second-straight double-double, and Williams had 14 points and a Memphis career-high 13 rebounds.
