AIKEN, S.C. – Junior Chase Harris fired a final round 1-over 71 in a cold, persistent rain and the University of Memphis shot 294 – the fourth-lowest total of the day – to earn a tie for sixth in The Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate Tuesday at Palmetto Golf Club.
Harris finished at even-par 210, which included Monday's 3-under 67 – the best Memphis round of the 54-hole tournament – to record the first Top 10 of his career. Harris tied for seventh and was three shots back of co-leaders Jake Storey of Georgia Southern and Daniel Overas of Coastal Carolina, who participated in a playoff.
