The Tigers, playing in their season-opening event, finished at 3-over 867, 17 strokes behind champion North Florida. Host UAB shot 13-under 851 to place second, one stroke behind North Florida, while Arkansas State (854) and South Carolina (865) finished ahead of Memphis.
Playing on the Greystone Founders Course, the Tigers couldn't match a strong second-round in which they shot 12-under 276 to tie North Florida for the lowest round of the event.
