MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 37th-ranked Memphis Tiger men's tennis squad competed in Dallas over the weekend, going 2-1 in a trio of American Athletic Conference matches.
The Tigers (12-5) defeated both Wichita State and Temple by 4-2 scores, before falling to No. 31 SMU, 4-0.
"It was a good weekend of highly-competitive conference matches," Memphis head coach Paul Goebel said. "Our guys competed well and look good going into the home stretch of the season."
With his win over Temple, freshman Pablo Alemany Malea improved to 13-0 in singles play on the year.
