LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Tigers got out to a fast start in their final game in the Las Vegas Invitational. But, Memphis would be unable to hold the offense of #6 Indiana down as they suffered the 79-64 loss.
Following tonight's game, Memphis moves to 4-3 for the season.
After opening the game trading baskets with the Hoosiers, Memphis would take the early 9-6 lead after Madison Griggs drained a three-pointer from the near wing. While Indiana would get back-to-back buckets, the Tigers would answer right back with a putback lay-up from Destiny Thomas and consecutive three-pointers from Tanyuel Welch and Shelbee Brown to keep their lead.
