MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis women's basketball fell Saturday afternoon to USF by a score of 68-47. The Tigers fall to 13-14 on the year and 4-10 in American Athletic Conference play.
Through the first four minutes of play, the Tigers trailed USF by one, 7-6, after second basket of the contest. USF rattled off its first run of the contest, however, building a 10-point lead against Memphis with 2:55 on the clock.
Momentum from the first quarter helped propel the Bulls into a 20-point lead with 7:36 remaining in the half.
