MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team got back in the win column Saturday afternoon, beating Houston, 9-3, in game two of a three-game American Athletic Conference series at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field
With the win, Memphis improves to 20-19 (4-7) this season. The Cougars dropped to 22-17 (7-4) on the year with the loss.
"I was proud of how our guys bounced back after last night's game," head coach Kerrick Jackson said. "Fowler came out, threw some zeroes up and just competed the whole time. Logan [Kohler] came out and had a great day at the plate, we strung some quality at-bats together.
