MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis baseball dropped a 4-2 game to close its home series against Cincinnati Sunday afternoon at FedExPark.
The Bearcats limited the Tigers' offense to five hits, while timely offense from the visiting side served as the difference.
"They didn't give us anything. The big games we've had offensively this year, we've taken advantage of freebies," Head Coach Daron Schoenrock said. "When they don't give much away and you're forced to hit, it's tough. We did that to them too. They found a couple holes, but that's the way the game plays sometimes.
