MONROE, La. – The University of Memphis baseball team dropped a mid-week game at UL-Monroe, 4-3, on Sunday night at Lou St. Amant Field. With the loss, Memphis moves to 8-5 on the season.
"Tough loss tonight," head coach Kerrick Jackson said. "Unfortunately, we've dropped three in a row and we're running out of ugly wins. We won some games early and we had a little streak going, but we weren't winning the right way and I think ultimately that caught up to us. We have to get back home this week after this long road trip, coach our guys up, get them to play better and get ready for a tough opponent this weekend in Indiana State.
