MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team dropped game two of a three-game American Athletic Conference series, 11-5, to Tulane at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field on Friday night.
With the setback, the Tigers move to 27-26 (9-14 AAC) on the season. The Green Wave improved to 15-38 (8-15) on the year with the win.
"They took advantage of opportunities that we gave them, and we didn't take advantage of the ones they gave us," head coach Kerrick Jackson said. "Tomorrow, we have a chance to come out and win the series and win the last conference weekend of the year.
