ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Memphis baseball team dropped game one of its three-game series with UCF, 12-3, on Friday night at John Euliano Park in Orlando.
With the setback, Memphis moves to 18-17 (2-5) on the season. The Knights improved to 19-15 (2-5) on the year with win.
"They played better than us and capitalized on our mistakes and we didn't capitalize on theirs," head coach Kerrick Jackson said. "We have to come out tomorrow and do our best to tie this thing up and then try to win the series.
