MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The 70th-ranked Memphis Tiger women's tennis team won two American Athletic Conference matches over the weekend, including a 4-2 triumph at No. 19 Tulsa.
The Tigers (9-4, 3-0 AAC) won at Wichita State Friday night, 7-0, before earning the 4-2 win at 19th-ranked Tulsa Sunday afternoon.
"I am super proud of this group," Memphis head coach Hayden Perez said. "They were very resilient after losing the doubles point at Tulsa. The girls fought hard, and (assistant coach) Ryan Haymond and I are very happy for them.
