TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – University of Memphis junior and senior were the women's and men's top finishers, respectively, at the 2015 NCAA South Regional Championships Friday. The University of Alabama hosted the regional meet.
Friday's meet wrapped up the 2015 cross country season for both squads.
Rodriguez Sala crossed the finish line in 37 place in the women's 6k race. She posted a time of 21:26.28. Rodriguez Sala's 37-place finish was the third-best performance by a Tigers women's runner at the NCAA South Regional. The only other two better finishes were by Daniele Riendeau (21) and Emily Malinowski (29), both coming at the 2005 NCAA Regional Championships.
