MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis blasted Southern 11-1 in seven innings to complete the sweep of the Jaguars and extend the Tigers' winning streak to six games. The Tigers (16-7) will be back in action against Mississippi State Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at AutoZone Park.
Memphis used an eight-run sixth inning to blow the game open. The Tigers sent 12 men to the plate and pounded out seven hits in the inning.
Brandon Grudzielanek started things with double down the left field line and Trent Turner was hit by a pitch to put two runners on with no outs.
