HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – University of Memphis cross country finished the NCAA Division I South Regional Friday with seven athletes bringing home new personal records.
Payton Gleason rounded out his collegiate cross country career by being the sole Tiger to earn All Region honors for his top-25 performance in the men's 10k (23rd, 30:20.80). This is his second consecutive year earning the honor, after last season's 24th-place finish. He paced the men's team a 12th-place finish out of 22 strong regional teams.
Along with Gleason's personal best 10k race, all four other male athletes finished the meet with new PRs, including Zachary Wyatt, Vincent Chenier, Anton Michna and Tate Wyatt.
