MEMPHIS, Tenn.– The Memphis women's basketball team will wrap up regular season play this Wednesday night when they play host to the Pirates of East Carolina. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. inside Elma Roane Fieldhouse.
Memphis (14-11, 5-9 AAC) is coming off a 71-58 loss to Cincinnati that saw the Tigers fight back from as much as an 11-point deficit in the first half. While Memphis was able to cut the Bearcats lead to just one in the third quarter, the Cincinnati offense shot lights out and handed the Tigers the loss.
Alana Davis led the team with 12 points and nine rebounds while Emani Jefferson also chipped in 12 points, 10 of which came from the free throw line.
