MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Despite a 3-0 lead three innings into the game, the Memphis Tigers (20-20, 5-9) couldn't make it consecutive victories over the Wichita State Shockers (14-29, 3-11), as the visitor's used three big innings to pick up a 14-6 win that leveled the series at one game apiece. The Shockers took the lead with a five-run fourth, and though Memphis tied it in the home half of the inning, Wichita State took the lead for good with a four-run sixth and capped off the night with a three-run ninth. Shockers CF Chuck Ingram had six RBIs and three extra-base hits in the Wichita State win.
