Tigers Can’t Capitalize on Early One Set Lead

NEW ORLEANS, La. – Behind a 25-21 first set victory, the Memphis Tigers (8-11, 1-6) looked to win for the first time in their past five conference matches, but the Tulane Green Wave (12-7, 5-2), who entered Friday's matchup fourth in the conference, stormed back and took the next three sets for a 3-1 win. Tulane hit .236 in the match compared to Memphis' .110 and overcame a -10 differential in service errors to secure the victory.
