MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team bounced back from yesterday's loss, defeating Oral Roberts, 7-5, on Saturday at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field in game two of a three-game series.
With the win, Memphis improves to 14-10 on the season. The Golden Eagles fell to 15-9 on the season with the loss and had a five-game winning streak snapped.
"Today, my challenge to the team was: no matter what happens, win, lose or draw, come out and be competitive. If they're going to get a win, make them earn it," head coach Kerrick Jackson said.
