MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis trailed by just one run going to the sixth inning before allowing four two-out runs and eventually falling 7-0 to Ole Miss Tuesday night at AutoZone Park. The Tigers (13-24, 4-5 AAC) allowed all seven runs to be scored with two outs in the game.
Jonathan Bowlan logged his second straight start of six innings. The freshman allowed just four earned runs on eight hits. He struck out three batters and walked just one.
A two-out error started a rally for Ole Miss in the top of the second inning. Bowlan walked the next batter he faced and then allowed an RBI single to give the Rebels a 1-0 lead.
