MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Battling through a gusty Friday afternoon, the UofM women's tennis team claimed a victory over conference foe Cincinnati with a 4-1 decision over the Bearcats.
After taking the doubles point for the second straight match, the Tigers parleyed that momentum into three singles wins to give Memphis the conference win.
"That's something we've talked about, because it's really been a strength of ours recently." Head Coach Hayden Perez said of the doubles win. "We've been playing good doubles, so the message was that this was our last conference opponent until the conference championships, let's finish conference play 3-1.
