MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis baseball team defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 9-5, Tuesday night at FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field. The Tigers used nine different pitchers in the win and Anthony Hansen ended a double shy of the cycle.
With the win, Memphis improves to 15-11 on the season. The Golden Lions dropped to 8-16 on the year with the loss.
"This was an opportunity going into the weekend where we wanted to give as many guys a competitive inning as we could because we know we'll have to use those guys this weekend," head coach Kerrick Jackson said.
