MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Four days after playing its first game away from FedExForum, the 13th-ranked University of Memphis men's basketball team returns home for its opener in the Barclays Center Classic.
Saturday's opponent will be Alcorn State (1-2). Tipoff is 1 p.m.
The Tigers (2-1) will be playing for the first time since dropping an 82-74 decision Tuesday to 14th-ranked Oregon in the Phil Knight Invitational in Portland. Lester Quinones led the UofM with 16 points and was one of four Tigers who finished in double figures.
Against Alcorn State, the Tigers will look to recover from a poor shooting night against the Ducks.
