MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis baseball announced its schedule for the 2023 season Tuesday afternoon. The 55-game slate features 31 home games at the newly renovated FedExPark Avron Fogelman Field. Opening day is scheduled for Feb. 17. against Samford, beginning an eight-game home stand to start the season.
"I think we put together a pretty competitive, non-conference schedule with a number of teams that are competitive in their leagues and have made multiple postseason appearances," head baseball coach Kerrick Jackson said. "Going into our first year of trying to move the program in the right direction, I think when you look at our non-conference schedule and combine that with our conference schedule, we have put ourselves in position to have competitive depth from start to finish.
