MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Coaching for Literacy (CFL) is proud to continue with Head Coach and the Memphis Tigers in this season's effort to Fight for Literacy through its Assistant Coach Program.
The goal of the Assistant Coach Program is to utilize the power of sports to raise awareness about the problem of illiteracy and to generate financial support for effective, local literacy work.
Coaching for Literacy's Memphis Collegiate Chapter will raise funds and awareness for the literacy initiatives of two Memphis-based organizations – STREETS and Memphis Teacher Residency (MTR). CFL has over 100 Collegiate Chapter members at 5 NCAA schools: Memphis, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, SMU and Vanderbilt.
