MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis and Alabama will play three basketball games over the next three seasons, two at FedExForum and one in Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The series begins with an exhibition game Oct. 31 or Nov. 1 at FedExForum. The exhibition is being played as a goodwill gesture to raise funds for relief efforts associated with the 2020 global pandemic.
As for the two regular-season games, the 2021-22 game will be played at Coleman Coliseum in Tuscaloosa at a to-be-determined date. The 2022-23 game will be played at FedExForum.
"I'm really excited about the game against Alabama this upcoming season," said Tigers coach Penny Hardaway "I'm happy to have this series.
