MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After being named to Scholar All-Region teams earlier this week, Memphis women's soccer trio of Stasia Mallin, Clarissa Larisey and Elizabeth Moberg each earned United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America status, the organization announced Wednesday.
Mallin and Larisey were voted to the first team while Moberg earned third team honors. Wednesday's announcement marks the first time Memphis has had three named to the same academic All-America list in program history. The recognition also marks the first time since 2010 a Tiger team has had two student-athletes named to the first team in the same season (Lizzy Simonin and Vendula Strnadova).
