MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Three Memphis women's soccer student-athletes will represent their home country at the 2020 CONCACAF Women's U-20 championship later this month as sophomore Tanya Boychuk and freshmen Mya Jones and Lara Kazandjian were named to Canada Soccer's U-20 National Team.
The 20-player squad will compete for a qualifying bid for the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup this summer.
"I'm super proud of them. It's well deserved, and I think they are all ready," Memphis head coach Brooks Monaghan said. "I've obviously spent a little more time with Tanya and Mya, but Lara has come in this semester and has fit in so well.
