MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Three Memphis women's soccer players have been named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-Northeast Region Teams. Senior Valerie Sanderson earned first team honors and sophomores Olivia Gauthier and Marie Levasseur were named to the third team.
Sanderson, a four-time all-conference player, became the Tigers' all-time leading goal-scorer this season with 52 goals. The Boisbriand, Quebec native, also holds the program's career record with 122 points. She had 16 career game-winning goals and also holds the program record with 12 multiple-goal matches.
This season she scored 16 goals and finished with 39 points, which were both the most by a senior in school history.
