MEMPHIS, Tenn. – In Game 2 of the Garibaldi's World Series, Team Buffet claimed a 12-4 victory against Team Special Order on Wednesday night at FedExPark to take a 2-0 series advantage.
Tied 3-3 after four innings, Team Buffet enjoyed all they could score at the dish behind a nine-run fifth inning. The inning was highlighted by a three-run home run by sophomore Hunter Goodman, while further damage was done with the bases loaded later in the frame when redshirt junior Evan Bell connected on a bases-clearing double.
Team Buffet starter Blake Wimberley earned the status of Defensive Tiger of the Game.
