MEMPHIS, Tennessee – Senior running back Patrick Taylor was named to the Doak Walker Watch List Wednesday. It is the third preseason watch list for Taylor, who has also been named to the Maxwell Award and Allstate Good Works team lists. Tayor is the second Tiger to make one of the preseason watch lists, joining defensive lineman Bryce Huff, who was named to the Bednarik list.
Heading into the 2019 season, Taylor ranks fourth on the Memphis career rushing yards chart with 2,534 yards. He also ranks eighth in carries (458) and fourth in rushing touchdowns (31).
