MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Following an insurance goal in the team's shutout victory over East Carolina, junior midfielder Haylee Spray has found herself on the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll, the conference announced on Monday.
Spray, a native of Allen, Texas, capped off a near perfect half for Memphis against the Pirates with a put-back goal off a rebounded shot in the 38' to put the Tigers up 3-0 just before halftime. Spray also helped anchor a Memphis backline that held South Florida and East Carolina to just eight combined shots in 180 minutes of work.
