MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis softball team fell in the series finale to Wichita State Sunday by a score of 15-3 in five innings. The Shockers ultimately swept the Tigers as Memphis falls to 21-23 on the year and 3-9 in American Athletic Conference play.
Offensively, the Tigers scored three runs, including two off the home run swing of in the bottom of the third inning.
Pitching struggled early, leading to six runs scored in the top of the first inning by Wichita State.
Memphis answered with one in the bottom of the first off the bat of , who drove home.
