MEMPHIS – The University of Memphis softball team has added infielder Xiomara Santiago to its signing class as part of the early signing period that is underway until Wednesday, Nov. 18th. Santiago comes to Memphis out of Cleveland, Ohio, from North Royalton High School.
"Xiomara brings us more power," Head Coach Natalie Poole said. "She plays first base, mostly, but can play other positions as well, and she's got great energy. She's going to have a good presence for our team and will be a huge offensive threat. "
Santiago is a four-year letterwinner at North Royalton and has been an all-conference honoree in each season at North Royalton.
