NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A rain-soaked second day of the ITA Ohio Valley Regional Championships didn't slow the Memphis men's tennis team as the Tigers continued a strong outing in the tournament.
Five Tigers advanced to the Round of 32 in the singles main draw, while Memphis tandem and secured a trip to the quarterfinal round of doubles.
In singles, all five of Memphis' wins came in straight-set fashion. Cutting continued his strong play with a 6-3, 6-1 win against Juan Lugo of ETSU, while won a second-set tiebreak to defeat Tomasz Dudek of Purdue.
