MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After three stellar performances last week, Jamirah Shutes has been named to the American Athletic Conference's Weekly Honor Roll.
Shutes, who led the Tigers in scoring in all three games, averaged 16.3 points per game after recording 16 againsy Liberty, 16 against Loyola Marymount and 17 in the team's overtime win against Penn. Along with her scoring efforts, Shutes also recorded 14 rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
This is the first AAC Weekly Honor that Shutes has been named to.
Memphis will be back in action this week when they travel to Alabama on Tuesday night and then welcome Southern University to Elma Roane Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon.
