TAMPA, Fla. – Emanuel Santos scored the game-winner off a corner kick with just minutes left in the match, his second goal of the night, to power the Memphis Tigers to a 2-1, double-overtime win at USF Friday night in Tampa, Fla.
The Tigers (2-6) took a corner kick, their 10th of the game, with about two-and-a-half minutes remaining in the second overtime period, and Santos punched it home to complete the comeback.
Santos also tied the match in the 70th minute off an assist by Ntezey Swalita.
