AUSTIN, Texas – University of Memphis junior set a school record in the 1500-meter run at the 89 annual Nike Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays Saturday.
The Texas Relays returned to action Saturday with a revamped schedule after inclement weather in the Austin area Thursday and Friday forced many events to be held on the final day.
Rodriguez Sala finished third in the 1500-meter run in a school-record time of 4:20.46. She broke her own record of 4:22.72 which she set last season.
In other action Saturday, senior placed fifth in the pole vault/section A with a mark of 14-1.
