Rifle's Clark Places Sixth In Smallbore At NCAA Championships

CHARLESTON, S.C. – University of Memphis sophomore Levi Clark advanced to the smallbore discipline final and placed sixth in the nation at the 2018 NCAA Rifle Championships Friday. The Citadel is hosting the two-day NCAA event.

Clark's sixth-place performance is the best in Tigers program history since his head coach, Dan Hermsmeier, placed fifth at the 2011 NCAA Championships.

Clark shot a career-best 585 in his smallbore relay to advance to the discipline final. His 585 score was tied for the fourth-best mark in his relay.

The Clackamas, Ore., native placed sixth in the final with a 408.
