Memphis, ranked No. 16 in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll, defeated No. 8 NC State 4646-4630 Saturday and dropped a 4692-4674 decision to defending NCAA champion and No. 1 Kentucky Sunday.
Dempster shot a career-best 1179 aggregate to lead Memphis to the victory over NC State Saturday. Her 1179 edged out her previous-best of 1175 that she shot in the Tiger Open, the 2018-19 season-opening match in late September.
