MEMPHIS, Tenn. – For the University of Memphis rifle team, it's "road sweet road" this weekend.
The Tigers travel to Fort Worth, Texas, to face TCU Saturday and Nebraska Sunday. Both matches start at 8 a.m. (CT) at the TCU Rifle Range.
The road seems to be friendlier than home for the Tigers the last three seasons. Two seasons ago, Memphis shot a season-high 4662 aggregate against TCU in Fort Worth. In 2018-19, the Tigers set a school-record 4689 aggregate in Jacksonville State's Gamecock Invitational.
This season has started much the same way with the Tigers' highest aggregate to date being a 4662 at Navy in mid-October.
