MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis rifle team shot a season-best aggregate at home against top-ranked West Virginia, but the Tigers dropped the match to their Great America Rifle Conference (GARC) rival.
The No. 1 Mountaineers swept both disciplines in smallbore (2339-2306) and air rifle (2375-2348). West Virginia won the match 4714-4654.
For a second-straight week, David Crenshaw took top aggregate honors for the Tigers, shooting a 1166 against West Virginia. He shot a team-best 1167 against Army West Point the previous week.
