MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The University of Memphis rifle team opened a three-match home stretch against Army West Point and dropped a 4672-4646 decision to the Cadets. The match was held at the R.F. Fogelman Rifle Range on the UofM campus.
Army West Point, ranked No. 7 in the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) poll, took both disciplines, winning smallbore 2315-2305 and air rifle 2357-2341. The Tigers were ranked No. 10 in the poll.
Sophomore David Crenshaw led the Tigers with a 1167 aggregate and placed fourth overall in the match.
