MEMPHIS, Tenn. – University of Memphis rifle head coach Dan Hermsmeier announced Wednesday that Taylor Gibson has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Memphis and join the Tigers program in 2019.

Won the 2018 Cascade Mountains League March Cup Match Championship … Earned second place in the 2017-2018 American Legion Postals … Competed in the 2018 National Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) Three-Position Air Rifle Championship … In 2018, highest overall scorer in the JROTC Postal Competition … Won the Army JROTC Regional Service Championship (fired not only the highest Army score, but the highest score of all of the Services) … Took the championship title at JROTC Nationals … Was the overall competitor at CMP 3P Regionals in Sandy, Utah …
